Q: How are Cobalt Core members paid?
A: Each penetration test results in a fixed payment based on the effort involved.
Q: How will I receive payment from Cobalt?
A: Payments are made after you request a payout from the dashboard of your pentester account. Payments can be requested in USD via Paypal or direct transfer (Transferwise).
Q: What information is required to receive a payment?
A: We require you to fill in and upload relevant tax forms (W-9 for US-persons and W8_BEN for non-US). You also need to specify either a Paypal account or a bitcoin address so we know where to send the money. We collect this information in order to be compliant with US financial regulations, and absolutely do not use or share your private information in any way.
